SkillUp SA are hosting a (free) "Get Ready For Retail!" pre-employment program, focusing on employability skills, soft skills and numeracy/writing/reading/ digital literacy (all aligned with/ in context with the retail industry).
Program Highlights:
Tailored Learning: From industry-specific literacy, soft skills training, and workplace communication skills.
Industry Relevance: Real-world scenarios and role-plays, ensuring learning is relevant and impactful.
Personal & Professional Development: Goal setting, resilience and confidence building, job search support, networking opportunities.
The program will be delivered at an AQF 'level 1', and all are welcome. The target group will primarily be unemployed youth/ adults, displaced workers, participants living with a disability, and/or those with language, literacy and numeracy support needs. This program offers a perfect pathway to kick-start careers in the retail sector whilst uplifting foundational skills.

The program will be facilitated face to face, commencing October 2, 2023. With sessions delivered 3 days a week: Monday, Tuesday and Friday (12:30-4:30); for 13 weeks.
